New - EU-Tender: Delivery and maintenance of a Forensic IT solution for the handling of electronic data. II
The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority has annulled a tender and put out a new one.
After the time limit for receipt of requests to participate in the tender procedure, the Competition and Consumer Authority has become aware that several potential service providers within the field of Forensic IT has not requested for prequalification in accordance with the contract notice. Hence, the Competition and Consumer Authority is not reassured that the desired competition in terms of prequalification among the service providers is present, why the Competition and Consumer Authority as a consequence hereof has decided to annul the tender procedure.
The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority have put out an new EU-Tender regarding a purchase of an IT system to support the handling of seized data in connection with the control investigations carried out by the authority.
The contract put out for tender comprises the purchase and implementation of an IT system which in relation to the Authority's handling of seized electronic data after a control investigation will support a quick and credible review of the matters and ensure that evidence of a possible violation of the Danish Competition Act is secured. This phase is described as the subsequent processing and takes place in the Authority's Forensic IT Laboratory (FIT Lab).
The EU Tender is put out as a restricted procedure, where a selection of candidates will be invited to tender. This selection will be carried out by evaluating which of the candidates who has provided the most relevant and extensive deliveries of similar IT systems relevant to the contract.
No further specifications or documents except the contract notice will be available to the candidates. Only the candidates invited to participate in the prequalification will gain access to the collected tender documents.
