Rema 1000 Danmark A/S - bøde på 40.000 kr. - ukorrekte, ufuldstændige eller vildledende oplysninger

Rema 1000 Danmark betaler 40.000 kroner i bøde for at have afgivet ukorrekte, ufuldstændige eller vildledende oplysninger til Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen. Det skete, da selskabet i foråret 2023 anmeldte en fusion, hvor Rema 1000 skulle overtage dele af Aldi Danmark.

Rema 1000 Danmark har accepteret at betale en bøde på 40.000 kroner for at have afgivet ukorrekte, ufuldstændige eller vildledende oplysninger, da virksomheden i foråret 2023 anmeldte fusionen mellem Rema 1000 og dele af Aldi Danmark.

Konkret manglede anmeldelsen nogle oplysninger om et butiksprojekt i Brøndby, som Rema 1000 en uge tidligere havde fået byggetilladelse til. Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen har dog vurderet, at de manglende oplysninger om butiksprojektet i Brøndby ikke har påvirket fusionssagens udfald.

Bøden er fastsat efter de beregningsprincipper, der var gældende på tidspunktet for overtrædelsen.

Konkurrencerådet godkendte fusionen mellem Rema 1000 og dele af Aldi Danmark den 30. august 2023, efter Rema 1000 havde forpligtet sig til at frasælge butikker i Bjerringbro, Hadsund og Væggerløse.
